THEN
The Simon-Hartman brand was born in 2009 from a vision by founder Melissa-Simon-Hartman who was determined to create statement footwear and accessory pieces which could be works of art rather than just something to wear.
Simon-Hartman London footwear made its official debut in 2013 at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin gracing the feet of the models showcasing the collection of British celebrity fashion designer and stylist, Romero Bryan. This received critical acclaim from the fashion elite.

NOW
The label has since evolved into a distinctive name that specialises in wearable art that tells a story. The essence of Simon-Hartman is to capture the spirit of artistry, creativity and great craftsmanship. Something Melissa knows all too well, with her vast experience as an artist and theatrical costume designer.
This knowledge and experience play a crucial part in each and every design created by Melissa, making each piece of her collection captivatingly beautiful. Anyone with a true appreciation for luxury and style will know that there is no comparison to hand craftsmanship, the personalised comfort, attention to detail, unique finishes, the balance of artistic flair and emotional labour make each piece impeccably inimitable.

Simon-Hartman London is not a fast-fashion label, it can take weeks to produce some of the pieces. No two pieces are identical, boasting unique finishes with the majority of our collections and this approach has been appreciated by the music industry.
To date, Simon-Hartman designs can be seen in a powerful catalogue of music videos, such as 'Mood 4 Eva' and 'My Power' of Beyonce's Black Is King, Stefflon Don's 'Can't Let You Go and Burna Boy & Wizkid's 'Ginger'.
